Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. We do keep Clip Notes®, which are technical notes on previous haircuts you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a consistently great haircut. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In? No. So if you want to add a shampoo or beard trim to your visit, go for it! Can I use Online Check-In for all types of services? The only services you can’t use Online Check-In for are perms and formal styling sessions. You’ll probably never see that, but if you do just check back later. Very rarely a salon will get so busy that the wait time gets too long and Online Check-In will be temporarily unavailable. Around closing time, we accept Online Check-Ins up to the point where the Estimated Wait Time is as long as the salon will remain open, or 30 minutes before closing time at the latest. Is Online Check-In ever unavailable? Online Check-In becomes available five minutes after the salon opens. 
This means the timing and frequency of sales and coupon messages may differ by location. Great Clips salons are independently owned and operated franchised businesses and, therefore, most of the messages about sales and coupons are decided at the local level.
What promotions will I receive in the Great Clips app inbox? In the Great Clips app, the inbox is used to send news about national product promotions and the “My Great Clips” location(s) you have selected may use it to promote local sales and coupons. Get personalized offers, promotions, and tips in the Inbox. Stop all that procrastinating by setting your own personal Haircut Reminders. You can make checking in even faster by setting a favorite salon. What can I do with the Great Clips app? While the ability to check in online is available on both and the Great Clips App, some bonus features are easier or only available on the app. Walk right in, or save even more time with Online Check-In!

Does Great Clips take walk-ins? Yes! We’re a walk-in-only salon so you can walk right in and get checked in at the front desk (if you haven’t already used Online Check-In) and you’ll be taken back as soon as it’s your turn. By the time you walk into the salon your name will be at or near the top of the list! Online Check-In also shows you real-time estimated wait times so you can make a haircut work for your schedule. What is Online Check-In? With Online Check-In®, you can put your name on the list from anywhere – meaning the time you might spend in the lobby can be spent at home or crushing errands. Does Great Clips offer hair dyeing or coloring services? Hair dyeing and hair coloring are not services that we currently offer at any of our salons. Hair styling services are also available, for short styles, long styles, and formal styles. Great Clips hair stylists also provide neck trims, beard trims, and bang trims if you're just looking for a touch-up. 
What hair salon services does Great Clips provide? Great Clips salons provide haircuts for Men and Women at one great price, with special pricing for Kids haircuts and Senior haircuts.
